Longer Consultation Lessons
for advanced pupils
are available by negotiation.

or as a package in advance.

Cash/cheque/bank transfer accepted.

With younger pupils, I try as much as possible to include them in decision-making about suitable repertoire and the general aims of the lessons (including the desirability and appropriateness of an examination entry).  I am always available for discussions with parents on any aspect of my work with their children and can provide written reports if required.

My most recent DBS check is available for inspection at any time.

Tuition is offered on a lesson by lesson basis or alternatively you may pay in advance for packages of lessons.  Lessons may be arranged at a fixed time or be flexible from week to week.

Payment shall be completed within 14 days of the lesson taking place.

Late cancellation of lessons (less than 3 hours notice) may incur a cancellation fee of £5.00, at the teacher’s discretion.  The teacher reserves the right to charge the full fee for the lesson in cases of failure to attend without notification.

The teacher shall give notification of fee increases in writing.  If the pupil has paid for a package of lessons, any remaining lessons will be charged at the old rate.

The costs of purchasing music shall be met by the pupil.

¨    If tuition is no longer required, the pupil (or parent) shall notify the teacher.  Any outstanding fees should be paid within 14 days of the last lesson.  The teacher will refund the fees of any lessons which have been paid for but are no longer required.

The teacher reserves the right to terminate tuition at any time and will communicate the reasons for doing so to the pupil (or parent).

Post-Covid, I now have some established protocols for maintaining

good hygiene in lessons.  See the document below:
